An Engineering Degree in Electronics or Telecommunication or National Technical Diploma with completed S-Courses. An additional qualification in Business Management would be an advantage.

Specialised training in Local Access Network Planning, implementation and control of network records is important. Registration or to be registered as a Professional engineer at the Engineering Council of Namibia is a prerequisite.

Telecom Electrician/Technician

National Diploma in Electronics with specialized training in Fault remedies and Installations in all access networks such as Copper networks, ADSL, WiMAX and TD/LTE is an added advantage.


NETWORK PROVISIONING

Qualified Engineers (with university BSc or higher and B Tech degrees or higher) to do engineering work involving Electronics or telecommunication planning and implementing of all company projects.

Specialised work entails Engineers, IT, ICT, Communication, Fibre Optic, Microwave and Power Engineering.

TECHNICIANS

National Diploma or higher in Eletronic Engineering. Potential to be developed into specialist Electronics of satellite systems, various access systems, transmission systems; switching systems; mobile systems, radio specialists, specialized network administrators on a variety of systems, power, air-conditioning, and infrastructure.


ICT & CBS NETWORK CONSULTANT

An industry qualification and specialised training in areas such as Microsoft, SAP, VMWare and Cisco. In addition, you need hardcore hands-on experience in order to survive in this ever-changing environment.

ENGINEERS

A BSc or B Tech degree in IT/Business computing or higher to do ICT work involving network consulting, project management and network architect planning and implementation.

TECHNICIANS/ICT SPECIALIST

An S4 Diploma with the potential to do specialization in ICT related to IT, IP and Telecommunication, operational work on IP/MPLS, Leased Lines, Metro Ethernet (broadband services), PBX, Structured cabling, Video conferencing, CPE, IT hardware, IT software, IT operating systems and IT databases.


MARKETING, SALES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONS

A Marketing Diploma with the potential to satisfy and anticipate the needs and wants of our customers and interpret the signs in the market places one step ahead of competition.

PRICING & TARIFFS

A Bachelors degree in Economics, Cost Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics with good communication skills and knowledge of all Telecom Namibia products and services.

RETAIL AND DISTRIBUTION

A Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management with the potential to satisfy customers and retain happy customers.

Grade 12 (30 points) with majors in English, Mathematics and Science.

DEVELOPMENT AS ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING

Degree in Electronic Engineering (preferably specializing in telecommunication)

DEVELOPMENT AS ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN-IN-TRAINING

- National Diploma in Electronic Engineering (preferably specialising in Telecommunication) - S4 and N6 holders who require in-service training to obtain their IT or Electronics / Engineering National Diploma

DEVELOPMENT AS IP/IT TECHNICIANS

Degree OR National Diploma in Information Technology
