WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA – 2 June 2026 – Dr Stanley Shanapinda has accepted an appointment as Executive Secretary of the Communications Regulators’ Association of Southern Africa (CRASA), the regional organisation responsible for promoting regulatory harmonisation and cooperation among communications regulators across the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

Kadiva Diana Hamutumwa, paid a courtesy visit on 15 May 2026 to the leadership of PowerCom and Telecom Namibia, where she met with Dr. Stanley Shanapinda, Telecom Namibia Chief Executive Officer, Mr Set-son Shifidi, PowerCom Vice Chairperson and Mr. Beatus Amadhila, PowerCom Chief Executive Officer, as well as members of management and the executive teams.
