Windhoek, 27 March 2023 - Telecom Namibia opened its flagship ultra-modern store at Grove Mall in 2018. The futuristic Teleshop became a model for what customers could expect at all revamped Teleshops in the future.
To date Telecom Namibia boasts 5 new concept stores countrywide, with the most recent being at Maerua Mall. The new Maerua Mall Teleshop follows the opening of a Teleshop in Outapi (2021), preceded by the Nkurenkuru Teleshop (2019), iWay store (2019), and the flagship store at Grove Mall opened in 2018.
Designed to revolutionise the look and feel of the traditional Teleshops we came to know throughout the country, our ultra-modern Teleshops is a clear demonstration of our forward-thinking customer-centric organisation that puts the needs of our customers first, by providing superior service delivery and the latest technological offerings.
According to Telecom Namibia’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Calvin Muniswaswa, the futuristic Teleshops are a modern expression of the company’s brand and aligns with the next-generation retail experience. “Our ultramodern retail stores are a visual expression of the progressive outlook that Telecom Namibia believes in, embraces, and advocates. This Teleshop is also a modern reflection of the Telecom Namibia brand and aligns with the next-generation retail experience. Through these efforts, Telecom Namibia is focused on enhancing the customer service experience countrywide and enrich customer satisfaction,” he said.
Interactive and revolutionary, and featuring the latest in digital technology, the state-of-the-art outlet will change the way customers shop for telecom products and services. The new Teleshop features include a customer care point where products and services can be purchased, faults reported, where customers can apply for new services, pay their accounts, register their SIM cards, and conduct many more transactions. The stores offer cutting-edge mobile products and fixed broadband services aimed at enhancing the lives of customers and empowering individual communication needs.
The initiative is an effort by Telecom Namibia to ensure that Teleshops are not just stores that stock products, but a place where the company demonstrates how technology can transform lives and businesses.
