WINDHOEK, NAMIBIA – 30 June 2026 –  Telecom Namibia wishes to provide clarification regarding its media statement issued on 29 June 2026 concerning executive leadership changes within the Company.

The statement correctly announced the appointment of Mr Armando Perny as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2026. However, references to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) were not accurately reflected.

Telecom Namibia wishes to clarify that neither the CCO nor the CFO has resigned from the company. The CCO's contract comes to an end on 30 June 2026, while the CFO's contract will conclude on 30 September 2026, in accordance with the terms of their respective contracts.

The Board of Directors and Executive Management thank both executives for their leadership, dedication and valuable contributions to Telecom Namibia during their tenure.

Telecom Namibia appreciates the opportunity to clarify this matter and remains committed to ensuring accurate communication with all stakeholders.
