Windhoek, Namibia – 21 October 2024 – Telecom Namibia is continuing to work diligently to restore full functionality to its VSAT fixed and mobile (voice and data) services following a satellite outage that occurred on 19 October 2024.

“We understand the critical nature of these services and the inconvenience this disruption is causing our customers,” said Mr. Calvin Muniswaswa, Acting Chief Executive Officer - Telecom Namibia. “Our teams are committed to resolving this issue as quickly as possible.”
Telecom Namibia remains committed to restoring full service as soon as possible and will continue to provide regular updates on the situation.
