Windhoek, 18 July 2022 – The World Bank Group released its report titled, ‘Creating Markets in Namibia – Creating Resilient and Inclusive Markets’, on the 8th of July 2022.The report stated, amongst others, that in Namibia:

Windhoek, 13 July 2022 – Thanks to Telecom Namibia, the Gobabeb Namib Research Institute, for the first time in many years, is able to connect with sufficient bandwidth to the rest of the world. The work of the Institute is largely cloud-based and this requires sufficient bandwidth for faster computer processing. 

Windhoek, 23 June 2022 – Telecom Namibia subsidiary, PowerCom, officially unveiled the Veddersdal Tower enabling Telecom Namibia to launch its 4G LTE Network services in Veddersdal, Okahandja. This development demonstrates Telecom Namibia’s commitment to invest in infrastructure development in its quest to bridge the digital divide and bringing services closer to all Namibians.
